Welcome to the home of Anne’s textile creations.

Anne De Nooijer, the creative spirit behind Studio Frannie, is a textile artist, living and working on Birpai Country. 

Her passion and creativity resides in the world of weaving, sewing and wearable art, blurring the lines between jewelry, up-cycled fashion pieces as well as tapestries and unique wall hangings. 

She draws her inspiration from nature, the land we live on and daily life. Within her practice she works with natural objects such as wood, crystals, seashells and mainly plant dyed natural or recycled fibres. 

Her pieces explore the feminine as well as masculine by combining woodworking techniques and playing with fibres.

A love for the planet and a concern for the ongoing climate crisis has motivated her to predominantly use sustainable and foraged materials. She loves to get her materials from second hand sources or companies that have sustainable practices. It’s very important to her to live consciously and create consciously.
